The Indonesian Roads 2D animation industry is growing rapidly as the industry continues to develop with technology, the market demand continues to grow and international collaborations are made. The Jordanian studios have adopted modern tools such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, and Blender, which help increase production quality and stay traditional with traditional artistic methods. Despite these challenges, the industry isn’t without them: there is a lack of funding, no skills, and some studios have outdated infrastructure. However, local animation enterprises are getting by producing culturally relevant content while becoming part of a global outsourcing team. For industry to grow, you must build strategic partnerships with international studios, receive enough government support, and invest in talent development. This paper studies the status of Jordan’s 2D animation industry and its key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
